Assembly Instructions

Unpack all parts and inspect for damage. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

  2. Install grass bag: Attach bag support frame to rear deck, then hook collection bag onto frame.
  3. Attach discharge chute: For side discharge option, secure chute to deck opening.

  6. Add fuel: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).

Control Panel: Located on upper handle. Includes: Engine throttle, Blade engagement lever, Drive control lever, Safety key slot, Primer bulb, Recoil starter.

Starting Procedure:

  1. Insert safety key.
  2. Move throttle to FAST position.
  3. Press primer bulb 3 times (cold engine).
  4. Pull recoil starter cord firmly.

Operating: To engage self-propelled drive, squeeze drive control lever to handle. To engage blade, squeeze blade engagement lever to handle. Release either lever to stop function.

Stopping: Release blade engagement lever, move throttle to STOP, remove safety key.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single lever adjusts all four wheels simultaneously.

  1. Stop engine and wait for blade to stop completely.
  2. Pull height adjustment lever outward and move to desired position (1-6).
  3. Release lever to lock into place.
  4. Verify all wheels are at same height by checking deck level.

Tip: For first mow of season, set to highest position. Gradually lower to desired height over subsequent mows.

  4. Remove spark plug, add 1 tablespoon of oil to cylinder, pull starter cord slowly to distribute, reinstall plug.
  5. Store in clean, dry place, protected from weather.
  6. Cover with breathable fabric (do not use plastic).

WARNING! Never store mower with fuel in tank in enclosed area due to fire risk.
