Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

  1. Attach handle: Insert lower handle into deck brackets, secure with bolts and wing nuts.
  2. Install grass bag: Hook bag frame onto rear deck brackets; ensure secure attachment.
  3. Attach mulching plug: Insert into rear discharge chute if mulching.
  4. Add engine oil: Fill with SAE 30 detergent oil (approx. 20 oz.) as per dipstick.
  5. Add gasoline: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).

WARNING! Keep hands and feet clear of cutting blade during assembly. Ensure all fasteners are tight.

Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: Throttle lever, recoil starter grip, blade control bar (deadman switch).

Starting Procedure:

  2. Push throttle lever to FAST position.

  4. Pull recoil starter briskly.

Stopping: Release blade control bar; move throttle to STOP. Disconnect spark plug for storage.

Cutting Height Adjustment
