Assembly Instructions

Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: Throttle lever, drive control bar (if self-propelled model), height adjustment lever.

Starting: 1. Check oil and fuel levels. 2. Move throttle to FAST position. 3. Prime engine (if equipped). 4. Pull recoil starter firmly. Stopping: Release drive control, move throttle to STOP, disconnect spark plug wire for safety.

Operation: Push mower at steady pace; overlap passes slightly for even cut. For bagging, attach grass bag; for mulching, install mulch plug (if required).

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single-lever adjustment changes height for all four wheels simultaneously.

  1. Stop engine and wait for blade to stop.
  2. Pull lever outward and move to desired position (1-6).
  3. Release lever to lock into place.
  4. Test on small area to ensure desired height.

Tip: Cut only 1/3 of grass blade length at a time. Adjust height seasonally (higher in summer heat).
