Handle Controls: Throttle lever, blade engagement lever, safety handle.

Starting Procedure:

  1. Check oil and fuel levels.
  2. Move throttle lever to FAST position.
  3. Prime engine (if equipped) by pressing primer bulb 3 times.
  4. Pull recoil starter cord firmly until engine starts.
  5. Allow engine to warm up for 30 seconds.

Operating: To mow, depress safety handle against handlebar and engage blade lever. Release to stop blade. Always walk, never run, behind mower.

Stopping: Release blade lever, move throttle to STOP, wait for blade to stop completely.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single-lever adjustment changes height for all four wheels simultaneously.

  2. Locate adjustment lever on left side of deck.
