Stopping Procedure:

  1. Release blade control lever to stop blade rotation.
  2. Move throttle to STOP position.
  3. Disconnect spark plug wire for safety during maintenance.

Operating Tips: Mow at steady pace; overlap passes slightly for even cut; avoid mowing in reverse.

  1. Stop engine and ensure blade has stopped completely.
  2. Pull height adjustment lever toward wheel.
  3. Move lever to desired height setting (1-6, with 1 being lowest).
  4. Release lever to lock into position.
  5. Check that all wheels are at same height before mowing.

Recommended Heights: 2.5-3 inches for most grasses; higher in hot/dry conditions; lower for final fall mowing.

3-in-1 Function Setup

Configure for mulching, bagging, or side discharge.

  1. Mulching: Install mulch plug completely into rear discharge opening. Grass clippings are cut finely and returned to lawn as fertilizer.
  2. Bagging: Remove mulch plug. Attach grass bag to rear brackets. Empty bag frequently to maintain airflow and cutting performance.
  3. Side Discharge: Remove mulch plug and bag. Install side discharge chute. Direct clippings away from people, buildings, and roads.
