Assembly Instructions

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools (included).

Controls and Operation

Handle Controls: Blade control handle (must be held for blade rotation), drive control lever, height adjustment lever.

Starting Procedure:

  1. Check oil and fuel levels.
  2. Set cutting height.
  3. Push primer bulb 3 times (cold engine).
  4. Set throttle to FAST position.
  5. Pull recoil starter firmly.

Stopping: Release blade control handle. Engine will stop. Move throttle to STOP position.

Drive Control: Squeeze lever against handle to engage drive. Release to stop.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single-lever adjustment for all four wheels.

  1. Stop engine and wait for blade to stop completely.
  2. Pull height adjustment lever outward.
  3. Move lever to desired position (1-6, lowest to highest).
  4. Release lever to lock in position.
  5. Check all wheels are at same height.

Tip: For first mow of season, set to highest setting. Never remove more than 1/3 of grass height at once.

Mulching & Bagging

3-in-1 cutting system: Mulch, Bag, or Side Discharge.

  1. Mulching: Install mulch plug in rear discharge. Cuts clippings finely and returns to lawn as fertilizer.
  2. Bagging: Remove mulch plug, attach grass bag. Collects clippings for disposal.
  3. Side Discharge: Remove mulch plug and bag, attach discharge chute. Discharges clippings to side.

WARNING! Always stop engine before changing cutting modes. Ensure attachments are secure.
