Assembly Instructions

Starting Procedure:

  1. Check oil and fuel levels.
  2. Move throttle lever to FAST position.

  5. To engage self-propelled drive, squeeze drive control bar against handle.
  6. To engage blade, pull blade engagement lever against handle.

Stopping: Release blade engagement lever, move throttle to STOP, wait for blade to stop completely.

Cutting Height Adjustment

Single-lever adjustment for all four wheels.

  1. Locate height adjustment lever near each wheel (or central lever).
  2. Pull lever outward to disengage from notch.
  3. Move lever to desired height setting (1-6).
  4. Release lever to lock into notch.
  5. Verify all wheels are at same height for even cut.

Tip: For first cut of season or overgrown grass, use highest setting, then lower for subsequent passes.

3-in-1 Function Setup

Configure for mulching, bagging, or side discharge.

  1. Mulching: Install mulching plug fully into rear discharge opening. Ensure bagger is removed.
  2. Bagging: Remove mulching plug. Attach rear bagger frame and bag securely.
  3. Side Discharge: Remove mulching plug and bagger. Install side discharge chute securely.

WARNING! Always stop engine and wait for blade to stop completely before changing cutting mode. Ensure attachments are secure before operation.
